Denali Logistics Park

The Project

Located just 2.25 miles from Denver International Airport, in the heart of Denver’s industrial scene, Denali Logistics Park offers occupants the ability to achieve and exceed their future supply chain and logistics goals. Surrounded by some of the most notable manufacturing and logistics brands in the world, the Denali Logistics Park is a complex of three buildings with a total of nearly 760,000 sq. feet that are part of a 216-acre logistics and storage site with easy access to major interstates and DIA.

Tilt-Up Construction Expertise

To complete this project in less than 6 months, Arch-Con and Suntec Concrete required a company experienced with tilt-up construction. Maxim’s extensive work on projects similar to this one made the company a great partner.

For this project, Maxim Crane Works lifted more than 60 panels for each building, each weighing 172,000 lbs. In addition to providing a crawler crane, Maxim also worked with the general contractors to provide engineering, as well as experienced crane operators with tilt-up experience.

Equipment

Manitowoc 2250 Series 3 Lattice-boom crawler (300-USt capacity) rigged with 249,000 lbs. of upperworks counterweight, 120,000 lbs. of carbody counterweight, 150 feet of boom and a tilt-up spreader bar.

Results

Maxim Crane Works successfully lifted more than 100 concrete panels needed to complete the building without any safety issues or project delays. The project was completed on time and within budget.
