The Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 all-terrain crane is one of the most powerful two-axle cranes available, delivering a maximum lifting capacity of 45 USt with a four-section telescopic boom ranging from 34 to 115 ft. Its compact footprint and 4x4x4 drive configuration make it an ideal choice for tight job sites and urban environments where maneuverability is critical. The boom can be telescoped under load using Liebherr’s proven hydro-mechanical system, providing high load capacities across its entire working range without the need for a boom pinning system.

Equipped with Liebherr’s LICCON2 control system, the LTM 1040-2.1 enables up to four simultaneous crane movements for precise and efficient load handling. An optional 31 ft swing-away jib with offsets up to 60 degrees extends the hoist height to 144 ft, while the ECOmode feature reduces fuel consumption by up to 10 percent. The optional VarioBase® support system allows independent outrigger positioning for enhanced lifting capacity and flexibility.
