Maxim Mobilizes 100+ Volunteers for 9/11 Week of Service

Maxim Crane Volunteers prepare meals together during 9/11 Week of Service, fostering community and teamwork.

The work we do at Maxim literally uplifts communities every day. On the week of September 11th, we take it a step further – serving with our hands and hearts in honor of the resilience that defines our country and our industry.

During the week of September 11, 2025, Maxim Crane had the privilege of mobilizing more than 100 volunteers from across the country in recognition of the National Day of Service and Remembrance. This annual tradition memorializes the tragedy of 9/11 and pays due tribute to the courageous acts of community support that arose in the aftermath of the attacks.

In partnership with the meal packing organization 9/11 Day of Service, our nationwide team dedicated the day of September 11th to helping pack thousands of meals for people experiencing hunger or food insecurity in America. Maxim employees in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Tampa all worked together to pack meals that will go directly to food shelves in their local communities – a reminder that community support and goodwill are needed in every city. It’s often our own neighbors who need our support the most.

The meals packed by Maxim Crane employees helped the organization in its goal to pack more than nine million meals in remembrance and tribute to those who lost their lives or whose loved ones were tragically affected by the events of September 11, 2001. Cumulatively, 9/11 Day of Service mobilized more than thirty thousand volunteers from twenty-four cities across the country.

In addition to this sponsored event, many employees and teams made an impact even closer to home—volunteering at local food banks, cleaning up city blocks, supporting veterans, and donating blood. These efforts show that no act of service is too small, and each one contributes to a stronger community.

Thank you to all Maxim employees who exemplified our value, Be Good, Do Good, by taking part in this nation-wide week of service.
