WILDER, KY (March 19, 2024) – Maxim Crane Works received three Industry Safety awards from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association, including the 2024 Crane & Rigging Group Safety Award, the 2024 Fleet Safety Award, and the 2024 Fleet Safety Improvement Award. SC&RA is an international organization comprised of more than 1,350 members from 46 nations.
The SC&RA Crane & Rigging Group Safety Award is given to member companies with a Workers’ Compensation Modification Rate of 1.0 or less, a Property Damage Frequency Rate of 1.0 or less, an incident rate of 1.3 or less, and zero fatalities during the current program year.
The SC&RA Fleet Safety Award is given to member companies with the lowest accident frequency rate in one of seven mileage categories. Maxim Crane Works earned top honors for having the lowest accident frequency rate in the 20-50 million miles category.
The SC&RA Fleet Safety Improvement Award is given to member companies, demonstrating a reduced accident frequency rate for miles traveled compared to the previous year.
